VAR Business 500 Ranking

Peter Helander, President of Heartland Label Printers, Inc. / d.b.a. Heartland Business Systems, is pleased to announce that Heartland has again been recognized as a top business by The VAR Business Magazine in their 2007 VAR BUSINESS 500 ranking. This list is an annual grade of the largest solution providers in North America and one of the most anticipated lists compiled in the IT industry today.  Heartland is ranked at 378 for 2007, up from 396 in 2006. 

Tim McNicoll on 3COM Voice Dealer Council

Tim McNicoll, Sales Consultant, has been selected to serve as 1 of only 10 members of 3Com’s North American Region on their Voice Dealer Council (VDC).   To be honored with this selection, members must be a 3Com Gold or Silver Voice Authorized Partner and must meet minimum annual sales requirements.  Additionally, VDC Partners must show dedication to 3Com voice solutions, focus on 3Com voice business within their company and have extensive 3Com voice product knowledge. 

The main responsibilities of the Council members are to:

• Be the liason between the customer and 3Com, giving our customers a voice directly to 3Com.
• Be the conduit between resellers and 3Com, giving resellers a voice directly to 3Com.  Council members will take reseller suggestions and approve those ideas which they feel will improve customer offerings.
• Offer recommendations to 3Com on common best practices and potential new solutions based upon field experience.
• Offer guidance to 3Com on creating programs and promotions that are in the customer's best interests.
• Be the front line of help for quality control issues.
