Business Telephones

A 3Com Implementer

Heartland installs business phone systems that utilize IP telephony to benefit your bottom line.  IP telephony, or more specifically, VoIP (voice over Internet protocol), is a way of using an Internet connection to make phone calls.  With VoIP, a call becomes a digital packet of data that is transferred over the Internet's packet-switched connections rather than the circuit-switched connections of the public switched telephone network (PSTN).  Phones and computers are connected together and linked to a single data network via a Cat-5 cable.  Gone are the costly days of calling the telco to come in and move your phone lines.  Let us show you a demo of how this system works and will benefit your company.

Heartland's qualified team of installers, technicians, and trainers have successfully installed nearly 300 total systems both within the U.S. and Internationally.  These installs have ranged from 4 to 1800 phones per system, with both single and multiple sites, qualifying us as one of 3Com's leading resellers in the state.  References available upon request.

Training is available - please contact your Heartland representative or inquiry@hbs.net.

3COM

3Com has been a major contributor to the convergence industry since the introduction in 1998 of the world's first IP-PBX, the NBX solution.  In 1999 the company developed an architecture for a distributed softswitch for AT&T and brought the first commercially-deployed carrier softswitch to market.  The 3Com VCX, introduced in 2003, is the world's first convergence applications suite.

Transforming business through innovation is not new to 3Com.  The company holds over 900 patents and is the market leader in IP telephony for small to medium sized enterprises. 3Com operates in over 45 countries and has 1,900 employees.  Together with 3Com, Heartland is changing the way that business speaks.
