Virus Defense

Lastly, do not forget that to keep your network secure you should have anti-virus software installed and maintained with the latest updates.

If even one computer in your office is connected to the Internet, you are vulnerable to virus attacks. Recently there has been a rash of new viruses released that are malicious and can cause great damage to your office applications and data. Even if you have virus protection software installed, you are NOT protected unless you have the latest virus definitions. These definitions are published weekly by your anti-virus software manufacturer.
