Heartland Donates Technology To New Mobile Dental Clinic

Heartland Business Systems, along with other area organizations and the Tri-County Community Dental Clinic, unveiled the first mobile dental clinic in Northeast Wisconsin. The mobile clinic will provide dental health care to underprivileged adults and children throughout the community.

To create the mobile clinic, Heartland, with funding from HP, outfitted a 39-foot customized bus with three mobile computer workstations, complete with Microsoft Office, and networking equipment. Heartland and HP donated more than $4,000 worth of equipment. Heartland’s Senior System Engineer Keith Heid donated more than 50 hours of his time to network and configure the equipment.

Senior Sales Consultant Doug Westemeier, said, “Being the leader of information technology in the Fox Valley, we felt it was fitting that we donate the technology needed for a state-of-the-art mobile dental facility to benefit the people in our community.”
