Consulting Associates are responsible for providing technical support to our customers and implementing solutions at the direction of engineers.
 


Essential Functions

 
 
  • Stage, configure and connect IP Telephony Devices on the network and understand their use.
  • Assist with install placing, labeling phones and connecting telephony systems.
  • Receive and resolve end-user helpdesk questions while working with supervisor to implement a resolution.
  • Complete assigned Mitel Learning Systems trainings as directed by supervisor.
  • Understand network considerations when installing an IP telephone system and be able to execute tasks at supervisor’s direction
  • Understand telco and premise equipment cabling and to be able to cross connect services to bring systems into operation.
  • Test and verify system configuration using checklists and planning guide
  • Execute the duties given to him by mentor and supervisor as it relates to projects.
  • Complete research on solutions.
  • Minimum of 1,450 hours billed per fiscal year prorated based on start date. These charge hour requirements will be balanced against professional development and on the job training.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or university) (preferred)
     
  • Experience: Six months to one year of related experience
 
  • Certifications & Licenses: Any Mitel (preferred)
