The HP Navigator is responsible for the sales of HPI products across all Heartland offices.  In addition to managing HPI sales opportunities, the HP Navigator will ensure execution of HP programs and contractual obligations and will provide summary analysis of selling and inventory trends as well as assist in executing programs that provide internal education and drive sales of HP products.  The role will facilitate the development of the HP relationship by seeking out opportunities to improve communication, drive attachment, develop campaigns, reduce process time and improve product information access

Essential Functions

  • Along with the sales teams, jointly manage all aspects of HBS sales opportunities for products and services related to HPI.
  • Meet directly with clients to identify opportunities
  • Develop configurations
  • Develop pricing and present quotes to our clients
  • Manage post sales activities
  • Manage and track HBS HPI demo product pool
  • Drive sales in all PSG (Personal Systems Group) categories
  • Drive selling activities around HP Elite and Specialty products
  • Insure accuracy and completeness of quotes
  • Drive all communication & education of PSG programs, promotions, rebates, etc.
  • Maintain sales opportunity funnel and activities log
  • Understand sales team training needs and communicate to PBM and Navigator program manager
  • Understand the HP Partner First Program, provide monthly tracking reports to HBS leadership and +insure compliance with program requirements
  • Track use of all HP rebates

Skills & Abilities

  • Associates degree (Required)
  • or
  • Bachelor’s degree (Preferred)
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Relevant experience in building customized quotations based on customer need and vendor product availability
  • Sales Experience - 3-5 years of previous sales experience.  Preferably in technology sales.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Experience using Excel, Word
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Skills & Experience Preferred:
  • Field Sales experience
  • Previous experience with HPI configuration tools
  • Previous experience with HPI personal systems and printing products
  • The ideal candidate must show comfort and experience summarizing complex data, demonstrate proactive and entrepreneurial initiatives, and have strong track record of organization
