This position is in our customer facing NOC/Helpdesk.  The role is to take phone calls and emails from our end user client to assist in troubleshooting issues on their PC’s, Servers, and Network Infrastructure. This includes logging in, taking remote control, training end users, documenting in HBS ticket tracking system.  It also entails monitoring customer’s servers and networks for issues, fixing them, and contacting customers regarding outages.

  • Troubleshoot Windows and Mac Computers for end user clients
  • Troubleshooting Mobile Devices
  • Patch Management
  • Anti-Virus Management
  • Password Resets
  • Network Connectivity Issues
  • Troubleshooting Windows Applications
  • Remediating Virus and Malware attacks
  • Active Directory management
  • Office 365 Provisioning
  • Monitor Alerting software applications
  • Backup job monitoring and remediation
  • Troubleshooting basic network issues with switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless
  • Follow policies and procedures on a department and per client basis
  • Be part of an on call after hours rotation with other members of the team 1 week at a time

Position Qualifications

  • 3 years’ experience troubleshooting Windows PC’s
  • General knowledge of Mac OS
  • Ability to administer Windows Server OS and roles
  • Basic networking knowledge of Cisco network infrastructure

Skills & Abilities

  • Education: Bachelors or Associates Degree
  • Experience: 3 years of PC Troubleshooting Experience, in depth knowledge of Window desktop operating systems, Basic Knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems and roles.  General networking experience.  
  • Computer Skills: 
  • Certifications & Licenses:
  • A+ & Network + preferred
  • Knowledge of Connectwise Manage and Automate preferred
  • Knowledge of VMware vSphere preferred
