The Microsoft Partnership Coordinator is a position within HBS responsible for many critical functions that relate to Microsoft partner requirements, resources, and programs.  The purpose of this position is to work with Microsoft to maximize HBS revenues from Sales, funding resources, and back-end incentives.  This position also serves as a backup for teammates, and requires a high degree of collaboration with the Marketing & Vendor Relations team.

Essential Functions

  • Drive profitability of HBS by maintaining understanding, and providing recommendations on how to maximizing Microsoft incentive funding, rebate programs, and promotions including:
    • Funding: Business Incentive Funding, Partner Investment Engine, Vouchers/Deployment Planning Services
    • Incentives: Azure Consumption, Cloud Services, Cloud Solution Provider, Reseller
  • Develop internal processes to simplify engagement with Sales and ensure following through with Accounting regarding Microsoft incentive funding, rebate programs, and promotions.
  • Participate in all Microsoft-hosted events relating to funding, rebates, and promotions, to share knowledge and make recommendations to management.
  • Engage and educate Sales regarding incentives and funding opportunities to help drive sales
  • Manage Microsoft Partner Network competency requirements to maintain compliance and provide visibility to management in collaboration with Vendor Relations & Marketing Specialist.
  • Monitor Microsoft Partner Network benefits and support usage and provide visibility to management.
  • Drive profitability by assisting the Applications team renewals of Microsoft-related licensing by obtaining pricing and cost, communicating with Sales, and ensure timely ordering.
  • Maintain internal system with accurate customer licensing information (product type, versions, and more).
  • Monitor existing customer license utilization to drive service opportunities.
  • Assist Sales with software pricing of vendors such as Microsoft and other specific applications.
  • Optimize presales process through creating library of reusable presales assets (i.e. proposal templates, sales slicks, customer testimonials, case studies).
  • Maintain understanding of ready-to-use marketing materials supplied by Microsoft and help execute digital campaigns in collaboration with Marketing.
  • Assist in monitoring and respond to presales support & request requests.
  • Assist in monitoring all open presales activities, verifying assignment, timelines, and follow-through.
  • Assist with proposals preparation and responding to RFPs for content consistency.
  • Work closely with VP of Delivery Services and Vendor Relations & Marketing Team to assist our growth strategy with Microsoft.

Skills & Abilities

  • Education: Bachelor degree 
  • Experience: Marketing, Sales Support
  • Computer Skills: Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; working knowledge of Excel formulas and charting
