This position will join the growing Business Productivity practice as a key member of the group focused on Office 365, working with small to mid-size companies who are looking to adopt Office 365 and/or optimize their Microsoft investment. A successful candidate will be able to gracefully transition between multiple clients in a single day with excellent communication and organization skills. Quick wit and a healthy dash of quirkiness is a bonus!


Essential Functions

A rock star Business Productivity Analyst II will work with a variety of clients and businesses, focusing on, but not limited to the following functions:
  • Participate in pre-sales activities including meeting prospective clients and using your expertise to highlight how Microsoft technologies can solve everyday problems; follow-on presales activities will include solution design, proposal writing, and project estimating.
  • Dedicate time to researching, evaluating and integrating new technologies related to Office 365 productivity applications (OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, Office 365 Groups, Microsoft Teams, Yammer)
  • Delight clients by delivering Microsoft-based solutions that simplify their business processes
  • Publish internal and external blog articles related to Office 365 productivity applications (OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, Office 365 Groups, Microsoft Teams, Yammer)
  • Plan, organize, and deliver projects on-time and within budget
  • Build lasting customer relationships based on exceptional customer service and support, best in class solution quality, and open and honest communication
  • Share, build, and follow team quality processes in projects and support activities
  • Engage actively and openly in relevant user groups to build your own skillset as well as the HBS brand in the marketplace
  • Swarm to the work in any other area in need of your expertise, opinion, and engagement – Microsoft is moving fast, and you will be a key to helping our team keeping up with the latest features and recommendations

Skills & Abilities

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (four-year college or university) in business or related IT discipline preferred
  • Experience:
    • Analysis of existing systems of collaboration and communication
    • Requirements gathering meeting facilitation 
    • SharePoint Upgrades: moving from on-premise installations to Office 365, required.
    • SharePoint migration from SharePoint and non-SharePoint environments into appropriate SharePoint and Office 365 tools
    • Training and mentoring to drive adoption of Office 365 for power users
 
  • Computer Skills:
    • SharePoint 2013/2016 and Office 365, required.
    • SharePoint migration tools like Sharegate, MetaLogix, required.
    • SharePoint workflow tools like Flow, Nintex, K2, required.
    • SharePoint Designer experience, preferred
    • HTML, JavaScript, CSS, preferred
    • PowerApps experience, preferred
  • Certifications & Licenses:
    • Active certifications in Microsoft SharePoint, preferred.
