This position will join the growing Business Productivity practice as a key member of the group focused on Office 365 – specifically SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams. The incumbent will be a part of the technical team working small to mid-size companies that are looking to adopt Office 365 and/or optimize their Microsoft investment. A successful candidate will be able to gracefully transition between multiple clients in a single day, create technical solutions that can be reused across accounts, and do all of this with excellent communication skills. Quick wit and a healthy dash of quirkiness is a bonus!

Essential Functions

  • Project and escalated incident management support for current SharePoint/Office 365 customers
  • PowerShell scripting to streamline file migrations, file format updates, and other customer automation needs
  • SharePoint Framework development tasks to support customer projects
  • Microsoft Teams integration architecture and solution design to increase process efficiency and end user adoption
  • SharePoint migration upgrade activities to support client migrations to latest/greatest SharePoint on prem environments and to SharePoint Online
  • Continuous research of new technologies and business trends related to Microsoft productivity tools
  • Internal and external blog articles related to Office 365 productivity applications to be published on a regular basis (OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, Office 365 Groups, Microsoft Teams, Yammer)
  • Implement, integrate, and extend Microsoft Office 365 productivity applications for HBS customers
  • Estimate implementation effort required for custom developed SharePoint solutions
  • Pre-sales activities including client meetings, architecture/solution design, and some proposal writing, as needed
  • Billable hour expectation of 1,230 hours annually

Skills & Abilities

Required Experience:
  • SharePoint back-end administration experience (minimally SharePoint 2010/2013)
  • SharePoint upgrade experience; migration from legacy on prem to updated on prem environment
  • Exposure to SharePoint workflow plug-ins, such as K2, Nintex, or other third-party tool
  • At least 2 years of PowerShell script development
  • At least 2 year of SharePoint Designer experience
Preferred Experience:
  • SharePoint Upgrades: moving from on-premise installations to Office 365
  • SharePoint migration from SharePoint and non-SharePoint environments into appropriate SharePoint and Office 365 tools
  • SharePoint migration tools such as Sharegate, MetaLogix, or other
  • Microsoft Flow/PowerApps experience a bonus
  • HTML, JavaScript, CSS experience
  • SharePoint Framework development experience
Required Skills, Education and/ or Certifications:
  • PowerShell script writing
  • SharePoint Designer
