Internship

The Finance Intern will directly assist the accounting team with a range of projects related to; accounts payable, accounts receivable, entering expenses, and other entry level finance related tasks.  This internship is designed to be both educational and practical.


Essential Functions

  • Responsible for monthly commission calculations.
  • Compile and distribute monthly reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze profitability for various segments and divisions of the company.
  • Develop data tools/modeling to improve and increase the value of reporting.
  • Verify the accuracy of financial statements and accounts.
  • Assist in the day to day functions including but not limited to identifying general ledger impacts and assisting in month end closing procedure(s).

  • Ethical: Ethics looks at the ability of the individual to be guided by the company’s accepted principles of moral conduct.
  • Reliability: Reliability looks at the ability of the individual to be dependable and trustworthy.

Skills & Abilities

Required Experience:
  • Some complete courses in the finance or accounting field
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
  • Position or internship in finance or accounting
  • Currently a college student through a finance or accounting program, minimum GPA of 3.5 (associates or bachelor’s degree)
  • Proficient with Microsoft office suite; Word, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, etc.
