Mitch Holthus
Mitch Holthus is the longtime Voice of the Kansas City Chiefs and the most decorated play-by-play announcer in franchise history, including calls of five Chiefs’ Super Bowl appearances and three Kansas City Super Bowl championships. He also hosts multiple Chiefs television, radio, and digital programs, including Chiefs Insider and Minute with Mitch, which airs across five states.
Beyond the NFL, Holthus is a college basketball play-by-play announcer whose work has appeared on ESPN, FOX Sports, and other national outlets. He is a four-time Emmy winner, a multiple-time Sportscaster of the Year in Kansas and Missouri, and a member of the Kansas Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame, Kansas State University Athletics Hall of Fame, and Missouri Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame.
Holthus is a past president of the National Sports Media Association and holds degrees in Journalism and Business Administration from Kansas State University.
