(Pewaukee, WI) –(May 2023)  Heartland Business Systems (HBS) is proud to announce that it has been named a 2023 Top Workplace by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. Top Workplaces are awarded based on Team Member engagement and satisfaction at companies throughout the US. HBS was named a Top Workplace in the Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin region.

Top Workplace awards are based on the results of anonymous Team Member feedback via survey. Heartland’s very own Team Members were surveyed for this honor.

For 2023, over 2,000 organizations were invited to survey their Team Members, with 160 earning recognition as Top Workplaces. To conduct this survey, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel partners with Energage, a cloud-based Team Member engagement platform. Energage identifies which companies qualify as a Top Workplace using a proprietary approach, combining a wealth of data and industry-leading benchmarks to select winners with the best culture.

The Energage Workplace Survey measures four culture themes: align, connect, coach, and perform. The research-backed survey also measures Team Member engagement, leadership, and Team Member benefits.

HBS believes it’s critical to focus on culture in the workplace, employing the top talent in the industry. According to HBS Corporate Recruiter, Kat Aasen, “HBS making the list of Top Workplaces is an extreme honor. So many outstanding companies have received this award, and we are proud to join them. It is an honor to even be considered alongside the best of the best, and we strive to continue appearing on this list. It is truly more than just business. Our people and culture are the reason we won this award.”

HBS is proud of this recognition and its dedicated Team Members.
