Penetration Testing
The Misconfigurations We Keep Exploiting
Get a first-hand look at some of their most frequently exploited default configurations, misconfigurations, and recurring vulnerabilities encountered across HBS Penetration Test engagements.
These weaknesses consistently appear in organizations spanning industries, client profiles, and infrastructure styles. The talk will illustrate how seemingly small oversights and lack of hardening open the door to attacker initial access, enable privilege escalation, and ultimately drive full environment compromise.
By mapping these recurring issues to real-world attack paths, the session will highlight patterns that defenders can anticipate, prioritize, and remediate to disrupt adversary success.
