Heartland Business Systems Named Top Tech and Engineering Internship Program

Heartland Business Systems is proud to be named one of the Top Tech and Engineering Internship Programs in the U.S. by Vault/Firsthand. HBS placed in the top 20 for the tech and engineering industry.

The 2022 rankings for Best Internships by Industry are based on the results of the 2021 Internship Survey conducted in the summer of 2021. Firsthand surveyed over 11,400 current and former interns across 10 different industries about their internship programs.

Survey respondents were asked to rate their internship experience across six core areas: quality of life, compensation and benefits, interview process, career development, diversity, and full-time employment prospects. Scores for each internship program were determined based on what interns said was most important in an internship. Overall scores are based on the following weighted formula: 30% career development, 20% employment prospects, 20% quality of life, 20% benefits and compensation, 5% diversity, and 5% interview process.
